Can I book dangerous goods transport straight away?
Please contact us before booking any ADR service. We need to discuss the load and journey first, even if you have used our standard courier services before.
Can you carry every type of dangerous goods?
Acceptance must be confirmed for each enquiry. Send the classification, quantity, packaging details and route so the team can discuss suitability. Do not assume that a particular hazard class or material can be carried without checking.
What if I do not know whether my goods are hazardous?
Ask the manufacturer or supplier for transport classification information. Where a safety data sheet is available, Section 14 is a useful starting point. Tell us about any uncertainty before booking and do not describe unknown goods as non-hazardous.
Are small quantities automatically exempt from ADR requirements?
No. Some exemptions or reduced requirements may apply, but these depend on the specific goods, quantities and packaging. Please disclose all dangerous goods so the applicable arrangements can be discussed.
Can I request a same-day dangerous goods delivery?
Yes, you can discuss a same-day requirement with us. Acceptance depends on the consignment, preparation, route and availability. Contact us with your deadline before booking; an urgent request does not remove compliance requirements.
Will my consignment share a vehicle with other deliveries?
No. Purple B Logistics uses dedicated vehicles with no co-loading. Your goods are not combined with another customer's load or transferred between vehicles.
